Clarification of new Rules

I have now received clarification in PDF form of the new rules that have been discussed recently at the club. To help clear this up for everyone, I have uploaded the PDF's to the site so that you all have access. I will be placing these somewhere more suitable in due course:
New Rules 2009
Negativity
Kumi-kata (Grips)
Sokuteiki Rules - How to use a Sokuteiki*
*To improve Judogi use, the introduction of a new measuring tool, 'a Sokuteiki' has been made. However, these rules will not be as strict within the UK for non-international events.

We now have a comprehensive list of videos for techniques, just like the below example:

And the above is just one of the video demonstrations in our ever expanding technique pages - covering ALL tachi-waza in the new BJA Kyu and Mon Technical Syllabi!

When Akitas Judo Club opened in Southend, it was the only BJA Judo Club in Southend-on-Sea; something that has now been built upon after our successful reintroduction of Judo into the area.

We endeavour to fit all needs - from the humble beginner that is only interested in a small taste of the Olympic Sport of Judo, to the experienced Judoka keen to further themselves to fight for their country.

The club is now supported by three separate locations, incorporating Akitas Southend Judo Club, Akitas Rayleigh Judo Club and Akitas Barling Magna Judo Club. We run four times a week, covering eight different sessions. We believe this is helping to further build Essex Judo, and in particular Southend Judo.

Please have a look through everything we have to offer so far!
