When?
All gradings start at 9am and end at 12pm. Allowances can be made for time, but this must be made clear previous to the event.
The next Akitas Judo Clubs grading will be held on:
Sunday 10th October 2010
After this, subsequent gradings will be held on:
Sunday 4th April 2010
Sunday 4th July 2010
Sunday 6th November 2010
Where?
Unless stated, all gradings will be held at Akitas Rayleigh, Rayleigh Leisure Centre, Priory Chase, off Rawreth Lane, Rayleigh, Essex SS6 9NF.
Who?!
Any licence holding student of the Akitas Judo Clubs can attend. The Fun-in-the-spirit-of-Judo students above the age of 5 years that hold a licence can also attend. Other Fun-in-the-spirit-of-Judo students can achieve badges on the day separately.
Grading officers will not be Sensei, other familiar coaches or local high grades will grade the Akitas students to ensure impartiality.
Why?
Students can only really see their improvement and growth in Judo from gradings. This is also consistent with clubs across the country, even similar (although more varied) across the globe. Students need to see their grades change and the colour of their belts move towards the haloed Black Belt.
What?
Students can see what they need to learn by recognising their current grades and checking the syllabii available at the Promotions page.
How (Much)?
All gradings are set to a £12 fee. £5 of this is paid directly to the BJA; the rest of the cost is to the visiting examiner, hall fees and club costs. |
