Comments from the Examiners

Congratulations to every one who took part. It is very noticeable the improvement all Judoka have demonstrated over the recent gradings.

Every one had practiced their required techniques and were fully prepared and conversant with the the syllabus. The transfer from the old BJA syllabus to the new syllabus is now completed and everyone can feel proud the grades they have been awarded were worked for and well earned.

Gradings however are only one element of what makes a good judoka and we feel that everyone particularly the Kanos and the Mon grades should be congratulated for their judo spirit. There was no poor behaviour and messing about, and everyone demonstrated respect for their partners, club and senseis.

Keep up the good work everyone and you will reach the goals you set yourselves.
